The other main area of focus is releasing the hold that traumas and anxieties have on us. This is brought about by becoming so completely relaxed that we cannot hold the same emotional charge, or response, when we bring the feared or uncomfortable scenario to mind. Thus we create a new association between an uncomfortable state and a positive, or non-fearful response.
